SOUTH AFRICA, AFRICA

Big Cats Sanctuary on Sustainable Nature Reserve

On this unique project, you get the chance to get close to Africa's big cats. You wake up to the roar of lions, watching the leopards mischief and the tigers tracking their prey. After a lot of hard work, we are happy to be able to offer an ethical, long-term and sustainable project with big cats. A project that is driving the fight against the cruel leisure hunt "Canned Hunting". The project only collaborates with a few travel agencies, that must meet a number of criteria.

Project mission

One of the main missions of the project is to be an educational platform to create awareness about the conditions that the big cats encounter in their habitat. And how important it is to protect and preserve them. The project believes in the connection between environmental protection and wildlife, and has a goal to become the first "green" animal rescue center, and is already well on its way… with plans to have solar energy as its only energy source.

Volunteer work

Once a week, the project offers to drive you and your volunteer friends to eat at one of the restaurants nearby.
