If you go as a volunteer to Africa you will meet an exciting continent with different cultures and traditions in depth. Throw yourself between contrasts, experience the modern cities and small rural villages. Go on safari and pinch yourself on the arm to understand that there are lions, rhinos and zebras you see in real life. Be amazed by the drum player’s skill, and why not try it yourself? The potential for positive volunteering experiences from this continent are endless!
On most of our projects, you need no special skills. You’ll be fine with English except in Senegal where you should be able to know some French. Unpack your bags and go away with an open mind, a willingness to help and lots of enthusiasm. In return you will make the greatest memories of your life!
